Today is hari kemerdekaaan. That translates literally into "freedom day", however it really means Independence Day!Today is the 63rd Independence day, 63 years since they have been independent of the Dutch rule in Indonesia.
I am going to some local celebrations here in Bendigo. I am very excited! Although I am in bed at the moment sick as a dog.
